Parent Child Attachment Practitioner (PCAP)

What is PCAP?

How and where?

How and where?

PCAP is an early help model which focusses on strengthening the parent/carer – child relationship. This model can be used from 3 years to late teens and can be used with neurotypical and neurodiverse children. We work together to learn about reflective functioning, child led play, and containment.

PCAP can be delivered in your home or at school. It can be on a 1-1 basis or within a group. Time is spent with parents/carers, and then with children to build the attachment bonds through play.
